RAC Nominations Now Open

Dear church,

The next step in the review process is the formation of the Review Advisory Council (RAC).

The RAC will consist of internal and external stakeholders to Arise from across the country. They will act as oversight and facilitate further consultation with Arise staff and members regarding the recommendations from Duncan Cotterill, Pathfinding, BDO Accounting and Parry Field Lawyers.

The key objective of this group will be to make final recommendations to the Arise Board and provide accountability for the changes being implemented.

Nominations for the Review Advisory Council are now open and will close on Thursday 8 September at 5pm.

To nominate someone, simply email board@arisechurch.com and include the following: name, campus, the criteria where they fit (eg: congregation member, theological expert etc), and a bullet point list of the key skills and attributes they would bring to the RAC. Please ensure the person you nominate is aware of your nomination and is open to the time commitment (approx. 4–6 hours weekly).

The representatives will be selected using a skills matrix in consultation with key leaders, pastors and external advisors to Arise. Please note, that the Board have already followed this process and have appointed a chairperson.
