ABOUT THE ROLE
As Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor, you’ll play an important role in leading and developing our safety culture and supporting the wellbeing of our people including staff, students, volunteers and members, across multiple locations.
This role provides strategic and operational support to develop and implement HSW trainings, initiatives and policies. You will maintain and deliver accurate HSW records and systems, including incident management, risk assessments and compliance. You’ll work with leaders, managers and staff to foster a proactive and collaborative HSW culture in all locations and teams of Arise.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health & Safety Practice (or equivalent)
Affiliate member of the NZ Institute of Safety Management (preferable)
2+ Years experience in a Health and Safety Advisory Role
A robust working knowledge of the Health and Safety Work Act 2015
An understanding of the Privacy Act 2020
Experience in the development of internal policies and procedures
This role is full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and is preferably based in Wellington.

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Discipleship Coordinator to join our team and help strengthen the foundations of discipleship across our church.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Discipleship Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring our army of Life Group volunteers and our Ministry School students have the resources, support, and administration needed to engage confidently and effectively in their areas of ministry.
Working closely with (and reporting to) the Head of Discipleship, you will help develop high-quality discipleship materials, support core discipleship initiatives, and contribute to an environment where leaders and students can grow and flourish.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
Diploma-level qualification (or higher) in Christian Ministry or similar (required)
Proven administration experience in a church, ministry, or other training environment
Strong personal faith and deep Biblical knowledge (required)
Experience in project management (preferred)
A pastoral heart and ability to support people in their growth
Strong communication skills
This role is permanent and part-time (16 to 20 hours per week – negotiable) and will be based in our Christchurch Campus.

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive IT Helpdesk Technician to help support and grow the IT capabilities of our organisation. In this role, you’ll not only provide vital IT helpdesk support but also work closely with our staff to enhance the use of technology across our offices and campuses.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Some of the duties relating to this role include;
Manage our internal IT Helpdesk, responding promptly and warmly to staff queries.
Provide IT support for ARISE staff and volunteers, including hardware, software, and web-based needs.
Assist with office IT infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, networking, digital signage, alarms, access systems, and video conferencing equipment.
Collaborate on the procurement, maintenance, and replacement of staff hardware.
Support staff software needs, deliver training, and develop easy-to-follow resources for key systems (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Brushfire, Typeform, and more).
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
1-2 Years Experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk Role or similar
Enthusiasm for helping others and finding IT solutions.
The ability to communicate warmly and clearly with both technical and non-technical people.
A basic understanding of IT systems (hardware, software, networks) and a willingness to learn and grow.
