Reports to: Finance Team Leader
We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer.
This role reports to the Finance Team Leader and is worked across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, for 48 hours per fortnight.
The role oversees all outgoing expenses and tracks and manages income, including donations. Responsibilities include supplier management and invoicing, processing payments, managing bank accounts and transfers, administering contracts, and processing insurance claims.
A business or accounting qualification or relevant experience is required, along with a working understanding of basic accounting principles, Microsoft Suite and accounting software such as Xero.
Required qualities include a professional approach, excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, analytical thinking, initiative, business awareness, strategic thinking and a positive approach to change.
This role is 0.6 and is based in Petone, Wellington.
