Location Leader (Masterton)

Are you passionate about team building and empowering the local church? We are seeking a Location Leader for our Masterton Location to inspire and empower others to grow as disciples of Jesus, while making a positive impact on the community.

This role will involve fostering growth in volunteer leaders and developing the core functions of this location as they grow into a campus.

This role has flexibility around the final FTE (0.4-1.0FTE) but will be a permanent position.

Arise Care – Team Leader (Wellington)

Are you passionate and skilled in the area of community outreach? We are looking for an ARISE Care Team Leader for our Wellington Campus.

The Arise Care Team Leader’s role is to develop and grow local Arise Care initiatives, including Breakfast Clubs, Serve Days, Big Heats and more. The Arise Care Campus Team Leader will grow and strengthen the teams involved in these initiatives by training and activating willing volunteers.

Arise Care - Administration and Logistics Coordinator

Are you passionate and skilled in the area of community outreach? We are seeking an Administration and Logistics Coordinator for our National Arise Care Team to empower our local campus teams, across the country, with the support and structure they need to make a positive impact on the community.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will involve supporting the National Arise Care, Team Leader, with budget management, coordinating National Arise Care events and administrative support of the wider team. This role also supports and resources current initiatives and the development of future initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:

  • Experience in coordinating events or projects of varying size

  • Experience in the collation and presentation of statistics, reporting or financial management

  • Strong administration skills

Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:

  • Have a passion for vulnerable people in our communities

  • Be effective in team building

This role is part-time (0.8FTE, 32 hours per week) and permanent.

Kids Team Leader - Whangarei

ARISE Church in Whangarei is a vibrant, growing and family orientated campus. We believe that every child carries God’s gifts in their lives and we are passionate about encouraging them to live out the adventure God has for them both now and into the future. We are currently looking for an Arise Kids Team Leader to join the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will work with an established volunteer team to facilitate dynamic Sunday Services for kids (in purpose built facilities) and to create midweek opportunities for families to be in community. The successful candidate will need to be passionate and effective at team building and developing volunteers in their giftings of ministering to children. Pastoral care is a fundamental aspect to this role – the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their ability to care for and pastor children and the wider family unit.

ABOUT YOU

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience working with children under the age of 13

  • The ability to relate to every age and stage of life, as well as connecting with parents and caregivers

  • Proven experience functioning in a ministry role

  • Experience leading teams of volunteers

Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:

  • Diploma (or higher level) in Christian Ministries (not essential)

  • Qualification or training in a children related field (not essential)

This role part-time (0.6FTE, 24 hours per week) but will be a permanent position.

Development and Services Team Leader - Whangarei

ARISE Church in Whangarei has been experiencing an amazing season of life and growth. It is a privilege to help people grow and engage in serving in the area of personal, God given giftings. We are currently looking for a Development and Services Team Leader to join the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Development and Services Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the creation of dynamic and life changing church services, both midweek and on Sundays. They are also responsible for empowering and developing existing and future volunteer team leaders to build their volunteer teams. The outworking of discipleship and strategies to grow our church members in the gifts God has placed on their life, through modes such as Pathway and Alpha, is a core function of this role. The Development and Services Team Leader works closely with the Campus Pastor to create powerful environments that worship God and equip the saints to reach the world.

ABOUT YOU

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:

  • The ability to relate to people of every age, stage of life and background

  • Proven ability to build and lead volunteer teams, in a ministry context

  • Key strengths in either Production (AV, Sound, Lighting) or Musical proficiency

Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:

  • A Diploma in Christian Ministry (or similar) or related field (theology, music)

  • Industry training or qualifications relating to Sound/Audio/Visual or Music

This role is flexible in its final FTE (0.6-1.0FTE) but will be a permanent position.
