Events and Communications Coordinator

Do you love keeping projects organised and people well informed? In this role as Events and Communications Coordinator at Arise, you’ll help bring together the details that make big events successful, while ensuring clear and timely communication across our church. This is a role for someone who thrives on both organisation and creativity, bringing excellence and clarity to everything they do.

ABOUT YOU

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:

  • Experience coordinating events and/or managing communications (professional or volunteer)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt for different audiences
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with the ability to support and encourage others
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, booking systems, SharePoint)

Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Events Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

ROLE DETAILS

Location: Wellington

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Reports to: General Manager (with dotted line to Event Owners)

This is a permanent position.
