ARISE Youth is the youth ministry of ARISE Church for school years 9-13. ARISE Youth is committed to gathering and discipling the next generation by creating fun, healthy, God-honouring environments. We want to help every teenager pursue Jesus and advance His kingdom. We want every young person to find community, and build strong, healthy friendships that will impact them for the better.
Romans 12:2 NIV “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
At Arise Youth we are passionate about raising up youth that love and are filled with God’s presence, that carry the heart of God, and that are bold in their faith. Arise Youth across NZ runs Wave Nights which are our Friday night youth services, and life groups which are our bible studies in homes. All teenagers are welcome and we would love to make sure they feel included!

We want to make sure all parents are kept in the loop with all things Arise Youth and beyond that would also love to partner with, encourage, and support you as parents! We are intentional with what series and topics we do at Arise Youth in both our life groups and in our services. We have a rotating curriculum that spans five years to cover major topics and biblical concepts throughout your teenagers time in youth. Each year we produce a parents guide for what that looks like for that year. We have also attached a sample bible study to see what a life group study could look like for your teenager.
We want to do our best to pastorally care for every teenager in Arise Youth. We have some robust policies inplace to ensure this happens - you can read about these here (LINK TO POLICIES PAGE). Below we have attached a couple resources that might be helpful for your teenager:

Arise Intermediates
Arise Intermediates is the intermediates ministry of Arise Church for school years 7-8. We believe this is a significant stage of a young person’s life that can be fundamental to building a life long faith and building Godly friendships. The Arise Intermediates programme looks different location to location.
We also run an annual event for our Intermediate kids (including year 6s) - For 2026, this looks like the Intermediates Stream at The Gathering
